Jo lives and works in North London as an artist and practitioner of Chinese Medicine specialising in gynaecology. She is the director of the Life medicine Clinic in Highgate North London www.lifemedicineclinic.com. Her career in Chinese Medicine, and trips to the East greatly influencing her paintings and way of life. She has held solo/self-managed exhibition at Lauderdale House, Highgate, and has been invited to exhibit in unusual spaces such as Holmes Place lifestyle clubs Notting Hill and Salzburg/Vienna. Her love of painting with rich colours, large canvasses and gold guilding metallics are reminiscent of the East, and highly responsive to light. Her paintings reflect images of body, sexuality, and the lush roundness of living. They are a celebration of life, which she promotes daily in her Chinese Medicine work through helping women and men with gynaecological issues helping many couples to conceive. She has undertaken numerous commissions and her work have been purchased by many private collectors in the North/Central London area.

Jo is also the founder and managing director of Inspired Art a small not-for-profit, London based contemporary arts organisation that curates and manages projects. Since its establishment in 2003, work has included 4 annual Inspired Art Fairs (IAF), The Aprilia Art Challenge and Prelude, a series of monthly visual art events in Spitalfields for emerging UK artists in the run up to the fourth annual IAF.

Inspired Art also applies innovative and creative thinking to projects and campaigns for corporate clients who can enhance their business through supporting or sponsoring the arts.
